Nach seinem Abschluss an der Musikhochschule Köln gründete Oliver Schmellenkamp 2001 das Studio Sound4 (ehemals Klangagentur), das sehr erfolgreich in den Bereichen Radioproduktionen und TV-Spots, Werbejingles, Hörbüchern sowie Soundlogos tätig war. Seit einigen Jahren hat sich Oliver Schmellenkamp auf die Produktion von Sounds und Musiken für TV, Film- und Videospiele spezialisiert und seither an zahlreichen Produktionen mitgewirkt. Neben ihm sind für Sound4 mehrere Musiker und Komponisten aus dem In- und Ausland tätig, sodass auch große Produktionen kurzfristig problemlos bewältigt werden können. Ursprünglich ansässig in Mülheim an der Ruhr, konnte kürzlich ein zweites Studio in Wien eröffnet werden, das sich ausschließlich auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Filmproduktionen konzentriert.
After completing his degree at Cologne’s higher education institute for music (Musikhochschule Köln), Oliver Schmellenkamp founded the studio Sound4 (formerly “Klangagentur”) in 2001, which was very successful in the fields of radio productions and TV commercials, advertising jingles, audio books and sound logos. For several years now, Oliver Schmellenkamp has specialized in the production of sounds and music for TV, film and videogames and has since collaborated on numerous productions. Several musicians and composers from Germany and abroad work alongside him for Sound4, meaning that even large productions can be undertaken at short notice with no difficulty. Originally based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, the studio was recently able to open a second studio in Vienna that exclusively focuses on the collaboration with film productions.
