Die Novacore Studios wurden Anfang 2010 in Duisburg von den Diplom-Informatikern André Overhagen und Peter Seydel gegründet. Sie stehen als Geschäftsführer und treibende Kräfte hinter dem jungen, aufstrebenden Unternehmen. 2008 gehörten die Novacore Studios zu den Preisträgern des “StartUp Duisburg – Existenzgründerpreises”. Auf ihrem Weg, innovative und fordernde Strategiespiele für den PC-Spielemarkt zu entwickeln, werden sie von erfahrenen Profis der deutschen Spiele-Industrie begleitet und unterstützt. Das aktuelle Projekt ist ein rundenbasiertes Strategiespiel mit Echtzeit-Elementen. Platziert im Sci-Fi-Setting, erwarten den Spieler durchdachtes Wirtschaftsmanagement, anspruchsvolle Echtzeit-Weltraumschlachten und cineastische Momente.
Novacore Studios was established at the start of 2010 in Duisburg by IT graduates of the Univeristy of Duisburg-Essen André Overhagen and Peter Seydel. They are the managing directors of and driving force behind the young, aspiring company. In 2008, Novacore Studios was awarded the start-up award by “StartUp Duisburg”. In developing innovative and challenging strategy games for the PC games market, they are supported and assisted by experienced professionals from the German games industry. Their current project is a turn-based strategy game with real-time elements. Set in a sci-fi environment, well thought out business management, challenging real-time space battles and cinematic moments await players.
