Michael Filipowski ist freiberuflicher Character Artist mit mehr als zehnjähriger Erfahrung in der Spielebranche. Unter anderem war er als Lead Character Artist für Stil und Erstellung der Figuren der “Die Siedler”-Reihe verantwortlich. Seine Philosophie: Charaktere dienen nicht nur als Spielfigur, sie strahlen eine Persönlichkeit aus, erzählen eine Geschichte und können entscheidend zur Atmosphäre und Glaubwürdigkeit eines Spiels beitragen. Dies zu erfüllen, sieht Michael Filipowski als besondere Herausforderung an, der er sich mit Leidenschaft stellt. Neben Charakteren widmet er sich anspruchsvollen Aufgaben im Bereich der visuellen Gestaltung.
Michael Filipowski is a freelance character artist with more than ten years’ experience in the games industry. Among other things, he was responsible as lead character artist for the styling and creation of the characters in the “The Settlers” series. His philosophy: characters serve not only as game characters; they exude a personality, tell a story and can make a crucial contribution to the atmosphere and credibility of a game. Michael Filipowski regards achieving this as a particular challenge which he takes on with passion. In addition to characters, he also focuses on demanding tasks in the field of visual design.
